OUR
MISSION
We
stand beside and support all the brave people around
the world who actively promote peace.
OUR
PURPOSE
Peace
Hat is an effort to help re-focus the national dialogue
with regard to the most important issues of our time.
To help chill out overheated political rhetoric that
attempts to create the impression that those who advocate
for peace are somehow less than patriotic, whose morals
and judgment are questionable. We believe this politically
manufactured conflict is toxic to America and to the
world. We believe the democratic process offers the
possibility of a purge. It is an indisputable fact
that democracy only works when the entire citizenry
is truthfully informed. Our current form of democracy
is not working. It needs all of us to fix it. Peace
is for the Brave.

University with a BS in Political Science and a graduate
of UCLA Paralegal studies department. For over 25
years she has worked as a human rights activist in
a variety of capacities with a strong interest in
working on projects that aid children in need of housing
or medical attention. In 2000 she founded Info-Mission
to provide alternative information on global human
rights issues and the immediate need of supporting
humanitarian efforts focusing on medical attention
in Afghanistan and Iraq. Since September 11, 2001,
Marla has conducted outreach seminars and educational
events that point to the disastrous effects of bombing
campaigns and war on the civilian populations of both
those countries. She continues to promote projects
that provide medical support for children with cancer
in Iraq. She is also a volunteer for Amnesty International
in addition to supporting other non-profit projects.
